We are excited to announce our next new social craft group at The Hop Inn - Brigg on Wednesday 17th September 2025 from 6pm till 8pm. Being in lockdown isolation taught us all the importance of social interaction, and of taking time to relax and look after our own health and well-being, and that of others! You don't have to be a seasoned crafter or even a local to come along, the group is all about having fun, learning new skills and meeting new people! We are excited to announce our first German Beer Tasting Evening hosted by Simon from Something About Beer. Tickets are £25.00 per person and includes tasting 5 different styles of German Beers and learning about the history, regions, glassware, food pairings and leads us nicely into our Oktoberfest Weekend. We are hosting a Coffee Morning in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan are currently supporting a close family member and friends of ours going through Cancer treatment. Macmillan is 98% funded by voluntary donations and your help really will make a difference! There will be our lovely coffee and (hopefully) some lovely cake donations. We will also be holding a fun quiz, best cake competition and taking part in games. The plan is to have a lovely chat and get together whilst raising money for the charity. We are also holding a raffle for Hope House in Scunthorpe. We would love you to pop by for some coffee & cake. If you can’t make it on the day you can also donate through JustGiving, it is simple, fast and secure. We are excited to announce this years Oktoberfest experience at The Hop Inn! 'Hoptoberfest' will kick off at 11am on Friday 26th September 2025 till 6pm on Sunday 28th September 2025. To celebrate the most wunderbar time of the year in German Style we shall be pouring lots of steins of official Oktoberfest biers such as Paulaner, Oktoberfest food, music, best dressed Lederhousen and stein holding contest.
